We had one day in Athens so we spent the afternoon touring the historic Acropolis! We booked the "Skip the Line: Acropolis of Athens Afternoon Walking Tour" through Viator which was brilliant and we highly recommend it!
The Greek Vlogs: Exploring Mykonos Town
We sailed the Greek isles with Azamara Cruises and spent one day each on the incredible islands of Cyprus, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, and Mykonos.
On Mykonos, our planned excursion was canceled due to high winds and we only had a few hours to walk the winding stone pathways of Mykonos Town. We run into Petros, one of the famous pelicans of the town, and venture to Paralia Megali Ammos beach before grabbing snacks at a local bakery.

On Santorini, we briefly visit the idyllic town of Oia before enjoying a wine tasting at Venetsanos Winery. Finally, we walk the streets of Fira, the capital of Santorini.

On Crete, we walk the grounds of Knossos Palace, believed to be the site of the mythological labyrinth designed for King Minos. The labyrinth's function was to hold the Minotaur, the monster eventually killed by the hero Theseus. Go back in time to learn about the history of the Palace and imagine how the ancient Minoan civilization lived and thrived here.
Then we stroll the streets of Heraklion, Crete's capital city, to visit the markets and Agios Titos, an impressive Orthodox church.

Our day on Cyprus brought us to the city of Paphos, where we visited the birthplace of Aphrodite, walked within the Tombs of the Kings, and visited the House of Dionysus, where we gazed upon gorgeous ancient mosaics.
